Black Stars B midfielder Thomas Abbey warns Burkina Faso ahead of CHAN qualifier
Black Stars B midfielder Thomas Abbey has fired a warning shot to Burkina Faso ahead their second leg of the 2018 CHAN qualifier at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Hearts of Oak midfield kingpin says they will not repeat the mistakes they did in the 2-2 stalemate in the first leg of the qualifier in Ouagadougou last Sunday.
"We are not only hoping to win but we are sure to qualify for the CHAN. After playing against them in them last Saturday, we know their strength and weaknesses so we will overpower them at all cost," Abbey told Graphic Sports.
"Coach Maxwell Konadu has been talking to us since we returned from Ouagadougou and he has challenged us to psyche ourselves for a win, so I can say that we are ready to face them."
