Black Stars right-back Benson Anang, unfortunately, scored an own goal as Zilina lost at home in Slovakian top-flight on Sunday.

Zilina were beaten 3-2 by Slovan Bratislava, a result which dents Zilina's Europa League hopes.

With four matches to go, Zilina are five points adrift of the qualification spot.

Anang put the ball in the wrong net as the away side took the lead after 19 minutes.

Bratislava doubled their lead in the 38th minute through Rafael Ratao but defender Jan Minarik pulled one back before the break.

Zilina equalised nine minutes after the break when Jan Bernat scored from close range.

But Bratislava won after midfielder Vladimir Weiss converted an 86th-minute penalty.

Aside from the own goal, Anang had a great game. He will be disappointed but the youngster is mentally strong to get over this.

Anang excelled in the Black Stars last two games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
