Black Stars for Presidential reception

Ghana's national team will receive a presidential reception from President John Evans Mills at the seat of government, the Osu Castle, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Black Stars arrived home last night from Angola where an inexperienced side finished second at the Africa Cup of Nations losing narrowly to Egypt in the final.

Although the team failed to win a fifth continental silverware, it is being rumoured President Mills will announce a 'mild' package for the gallant team.

Thousands of fans were at the Airport on Monday night to welcome the nation's heroes who were written off before the tournament.
