Ghana’s Black Stars are set for a crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola, with their first training session in Luanda planned for tonight.

According to Ghana Football Association Communications Director Henry Asante Twum, the team will take the field at Estadio 11 de Novembro, just a six-minute drive from their hotel.

Twum detailed the team’s preparation, noting that the match will kick off at 8 p.m. in Luanda (7 p.m. Ghana time) on Friday. Following three rigorous training sessions in Accra, the Black Stars arrived in Angola on Wednesday, eager for this high-stakes encounter. Tonight’s training will mirror the game’s kickoff time, allowing players to acclimate to the venue under similar conditions.

"The match is 8 pm here in Angola so it will 7 pm in Ghana tomorrow. In the schedule, the away team should train at the kick-off time. So this evening 8 pm here which is 7 pm in Ghana we will go to the 11th November Stadium that it is in Luanda," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com

"Luckily for us our hotel and the venue is not that far it is about six minutes drive from here. We will go and do the mandatory official training then tomorrow we play the game," he added.
