Black Stars goalie Richard Ofori says early loss in concentration cost his side as they lost 3-0 to the Japanese Olympic team.

The Black Stars team B lost the international friendly despite putting up a strong team that had Sadick Adams, Samuel Tetteh and Gockel Ahortor all featuring.

The defeat has raised questions about the team’s durability after they initially failed to qualify for the CHAN competition staged in Rwanda earlier this year.

“I think that the early loss in concentration let us down because we conceded all the three goals in the first 30 minutes,” Ofori told Accra based Happy FM

“We have to continue working hard to ensure that we do not let in goals that way.”

“You could see that we improved after we went into the half and Grant and coach Maxwell spoke to us.”

The team is expected to return to Ghana this Saturday.
