Ghana’s Black Stars players have returned to their respective clubs following a successful international break in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The team secured back-to-back victories, defeating Chad 5-0 in Accra and Madagascar 3-0 in Morocco to strengthen their position in Group I.
The dominant performances have boosted Ghana’s qualification hopes, with the Black Stars now sitting three points clear at the top of the group.
The victories showcased impressive displays from key players, including Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, and Inaki Williams, who played pivotal roles in both matches.
With the qualifiers on hold until September, the players will now shift their focus to club duties across Europe. Many of them are expected to play crucial roles in their teams’ domestic and continental campaigns.
Coach Otto Addo and his technical team will monitor the players’ progress as they prepare for the next round of qualifiers, where Ghana will look to maintain their winning momentum and secure a place in the 2026 World Cup.
