Players of the Ghana national team based abroad will start arriving in the country from Monday ahead of Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
Nineteen players are expected to start arriving in the country on Monday evening ahead of the start of their training in Accra on Tuesday evening.
Several players were in action for their clubs on Saturday and Sunday in Europe which means they will start travelling by Monday morning.
The quartet based in other parts of Africa will also travel from their bases with DR Congo-based trio of Solomon Asante, Richard Kissi Boateng and Yaw Frimpong as well as South Africa-based Mohammed Awal expected in camp by Monday night.
Home-based trio of Fatau Dauda, Daniel Agyei and Mahatma Otoo will join camp by Monday afternoon while captain Asamoah Gyan is already in the country following his mother’s funeral over the weekend.
Chrisitan Atsu’s arrival for the match is in doubt following the injury he suffered during Sunday’s league match for Porto.
Ghana are second on the Group D table in the qualifying campaign.
