Black Stars Management Committee chairman George Amoako is optimistic of a win against the Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire in Saturday's international friendly to be played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Ghana lost to Morocco by a lone goal in their first friendly game in Rabat on Tuesday.

The game serves as preparation for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers which kicks off in September.

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey and Brentford's Tariq Fosu have joined the team's training camp after missing the Morocco game.

George Amoako says the team is prepared and will approach the game with all the seriousness it deserves.

“We are determined for the game; we are not going to joke. Ghanaians have high expectations and we know the task is not something small”

“Fortunately the crop of players we have in camp now are comporting themselves very well and they are doing well in training. So I hope it continues to show in an enhanced performance”

“We should believe in the team and I’m sure they will deliver,” he said.
