Ghana's 3-1 triumph over Guinea in 2015 AFCON qualifiers goes down as the Black Stars debut competitive win at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

Captain Asamoah Gyan opened the scoring with a patent finish in the 14th minute but the visitors levelled nine minutes before through Moussa Yattara to throw the game open.

However Gyan won a penalty which was whittled in by Andre Ayew before Agyemang-Badu climbed off the bench to neatly finish off a sublime run by defender Baba Rahman.

The Augsburg man galloped through the middle after intercepting a Guinean pass and setting up an unmarked Badu who planted the ball at the bottom right corner.

Maxwell Konadu's men needed to restore confidence and take a commanding lead in Group E and the team turned out in style to beat the Syli Nationale.

This was not the first time the Black Stars used the facility in a game; in fact in 2009, Ghana downed Uganda 2-0 in an international friendly at the venue.
