Asante Kotoko legend, Malik Jabir says current management members of the club have failed in their mandate and the club needs experienced people to run its administration.

Poor managerial decisions over the years has resulted in the Porcupine Warriors sanctioned by FIFA and the Ghana FA Disciplinary Committee over the contract termination of their previous coaches.

The decision to sack Charles Kwablan Akonnor and Kjetil Zachariassen which was purely management decision will see the club lose thousands of  dollars as a result.

According to Malik Jabir, the management members appointed by  Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei are to be blamed for the club’s predicaments.

"Nobody should touch Dr. Kyei, they should rather help him and give him matured men to work with because those who gave him the assurance to work with have really failed him," Jabir told OTEC FM

"The previous chairmen who succeed in Kotoko worked with big people who are knowledgeable and solve problems with their expertise aside from football.

He added:“Dr. Kyei's biggest mistake was to appoint young guys who are innocent and don't even know much about the club that has caused Kotoko off late".
