Ghana youth striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored for Sassuolo in their 3-1 win over Nocerina on his Italian Serie B debut on Saturday evening.

The 18-year-old shot Fulvio Pea's side into the lead in the 33rd minute after defender Emanuele Terranova had powered home an effort to cancel Di Maio's opener for Nocerina.

This was his third goal of the season in three competitive appearances for Sassuolo since joining on loan from Genoa this summer.

Gianluca Sansone sealed the victory for Sassuolo five minutes later.

Midfielder Isaac Cofie took the place of Michele Troiano with eleven minutes remaining for play.

Boakye-Yiadom has set a 15-goal target for the season.
