BOCA JUNIORS chief exec BURDISSO: "DE ROSSI would make a perfect manager"

Published on: 13 July 2020

Interviewed by Sky Sports, Boca Juniors head of football, Nicolas Burdisso, addressed with rumours linking Daniele De Rossi, after his Xeneizes brief playing spell, to a managing task for Argentinian giants, as well as to a Fiorentina or AS Roma move in the same capacity, stated:

"Of course Daniele can be a trainer. I'm sure about that. I remember when he came with me, last year, and talked to Boca junior players. Our boys were listening to him so carefully and peacefully, since he's got this special charisma. Afterwards, I told him he could start a training course here with us, once he had quit playing, if he wanted to. But we know how everything turned out, and that Daniele had to get back to Italy. Anyway, he's a natural on leadership, and the Italian scene need that kind of managers. He would make a perfect head coach".
