Arsenal are reportedly confident of signing West Ham’s Declan Rice for £75m, as he enters the final 16 months of his contract.
Reports are emerging that Arsenal are looking to secure the services of West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice, during the upcoming summer transfer window.
CBS Sports journalist, Ben Jacobs, suggests that the Gunners are “quietly confident” that they can acquire Rice, who is said to have rejected several contract proposals from the Hammers and is expected to leave at the end of the current season.
According to renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Rice, who has entered the final 16 months of his current contract, has been the subject of interest from several top clubs. However, the Gunners believe that they can broker a deal for the English international for a fee of around £75 million.
Rice has been a standout performer for West Ham over the past few seasons, attracting attention from a number of clubs across Europe. The midfielder has been a key part of David Moyes’ side and his departure would be a significant loss for the London club.
