Bale’s agent confirms Gareth’s departure from Real Madrid and believes a return to the Premier League is likely: “But first we’ll see if Wales qualify for the World Cup”

Jonathan Barnett has announced that midfielder Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid.

“Q: He leaves Real Madrid, and as for Wales, we’ll see, everything will depend on whether the team makes it to the 2022 World Cup. Then the decision will be made.
A: Most likely, Gareth will return to England?
Q: I think so, but let’s see if Wales qualifies for the World Cup first,” said the player’s agent.

The 32-year-old Bale has made five appearances in La Liga this season and scored one goal. His contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of this season.
