Bayern Munich are looking to bring Kai Havertz back to Germany as manager Thomas Tuchel is eyeing a reunion with the Midfielder.

German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly eyeing a move for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to sources, officials from the Bavarian club have inquired about the possibility of signing Havertz, who joined the Blues for a staggering €80m fee in 2020 after impressing at Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern’s interest in Havertz is not new, as the club has been monitoring the German international’s progress for some time. The 21-year-old has shown glimpses of his immense potential since arriving at Stamford Bridge but has yet to fully establish himself in the Blues squad, although he was instrumental to the Blues lifting the 2020/21 Champions League as he scored the winning goal.

In addition to Havertz, Bayern officials have reportedly enquired about the availability of Havertz’s Chelsea teammate, Mason Mount. Sources suggest that the English midfielder will be allowed to leave the club if he continues to reject their contract offers.

However, while Mount’s situation is being monitored, he is not believed to be among Bayern’s top targets for the summer transfer window.
