Declan Rice is reportedly linked to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United as the teams prepare for a huge transfer battle.

As the summer transfer window approaches, rumors are swirling about a potential move for West Ham and England star Declan Rice. The 24-year-old midfielder has been a standout performer for both club and country, and with just 18 months remaining on his contract, the Hammers may opt to cash in while his value is high.

“I want to play in the Champions League, 100%,” Rice stated in a recent interview during the World Cup. “For the past few years, I’ve been saying that. I’ve been consistently performing well for my club and I want to keep pushing. I see my friends playing in the Champions League and winning big trophies, and at the end of my career, I want to look back at what I’ve won and the biggest games I’ve played in.”

This statement signals Rice’s desire for the next step in his career and has sparked interest from top clubs looking to secure his services long-term. Chelsea, Rice’s former club, have been linked with a move for a few years now and are rumored to be making a push in the coming transfer window, despite their recent midfield reinforcements.

Arsenal is another team reportedly monitoring Rice’s situation, as they seek to build for the future after missing out on their young midfield targets in the January transfer window.

The potential cost of a deal varies, with reports suggesting a fee of £90 million to £100 million could be enough to agree a deal. However, according to TalkSport, the Hammers will set an asking price of £120 million, which would break both club and British transfer records.

Manchester United is also reportedly interested and made a move last summer with a £100 million offer, which was turned down. The race for Rice’s signature and West Ham’s asking price could change in the months leading up to the transfer window, but for now, the future of this talented midfielder remains uncertain.
