Takehiro Tomiyasu suffered a knee injury during Arsenal’s Europa League game on Thursday against Sporting.
Following successful surgery, the player has been ruled out for the remainder of this season.
Taking to Instagram, Tomiyasu shared a message as he wrote: “Heads up and stay positive. I believe that this is the opportunity to be a better person and player. Thank you for your warm message and support. See you soon!!!”
Meanwhile, Saka replied with three heart emojis in the comments section.
