Chelsea begin direct talks with Brighton over Marc Cucurella.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are in direct talks with Brighton over the potential signing of Marc Cucurella. Chelsea have appeared to move away from Nathan Ake since he is now likely to stay at Man City and instead have turned their attention to the Spanish international.

The initial request for the 24-year-old player is around £ 50 million. Cucurella has a long-term contract, and Brighton aren’t looking to sell.

The Spaniard has been linked with Man City recently, but Cityzens are not willing to pay the asking price to sign the left-back.
