Cristiano Ronaldo reveals what Cristiano Jr told him after he found out about Man Utd ban
Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed what Cristiano Jr told him after he found about the Erik ten Hag ban.
Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel in the closing stage of the game between Man United and Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in October.
As a result, Erik ten Hag froze him out of the Manchester United team for three days, which ultimately ruled out him out of the Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge.
Ronaldo’s son confronted him to know why his dad wasn’t part of the team against Chelsea and that was when the five-time Ballon d’Or winner opened up.
The 37-year-old forward also admitted that he was ‘very, very’ disappointed after he was suspended by Ten Hag, which he claimed to be a ‘lot’ for him to process.
“I was very, very, very, very disappointed for the communication of Manchester United. To be honest, I never had a problem with any club, with any coach. And they suspend me three days, which I felt it was a lot,” Ronaldo told Piers Uncensored.
“I remember arriving home and Cristiano see me and say ‘Daddy do not go to the game?’ I say ‘No, because the club punish me with three days’. He did like *laughs* ‘How they’re going to punish you if you are the best player in the world?'”
