Daniil Medvedev’s AUS Open 2023 was cut short following his defeat against Sebastian Korda in the third round on Friday, January 20
Medvedev suffered a 7-6(7), 6-3, 7-6(4) defeat to Korda in the third round of AUS Open 2023 and won’t be continuing in the tournament.
Following his defeat, the 26-year-old took to Twitter to send a message.
He wrote: “Wasn’t meant to be this year. On the way home. Thank you Australia. See you next year.”
