Diogo Dalot Breaks Silence On Manchester United Manager Erik ten Hag Ahead Of Premier League Resumption
Since returning from his loan spell, Dalot has stolen the starting eleven spot from Aaron Wan-Bissaka coupled with the arrival of a new Boss.
The Portuguese who started from the bench on his National team side has shared his is only a starter at United because the manager trusts him.
“The confidence that he [Ten Hag] has given to me shows the work I’ve been doing,” Dalot said. “I’ve been trying to give it back to him, the confidence that he’s been giving me since the beginning of the season.
“With him, we have a lot of space for improvement and he’s a manager that demands a lot from the players. This is the way I like to work, so I think it’s a good match. It brings me more responsibility to keep improving.
“I’ve just tried to be fit – doing what I can to recover well between games. I know this is a big, big season and a long season, with the schedule, there are a lot of games to cover and I just try to be on the best fitness level to help the team.”
