Diogo Jota posts message after injury blow ahead of World Cup
On Tuesday it was confirmed that Jota will miss the World Cup due to an injury he suffered against Manchester City.
The Portugal international was carried off the pitch in the dying moments of the 1-0 win over City.
Jota will be out with a calf injury, which is a huge blow for both Liverpool and his national team.
“After such a good night at Anfield mine ended in the worst way ! In the last minute one of my dreams collapsed,” Jota wrote on Twitter.
“I will be one more supporting from the outside, club and country, and fighting to be back as soon as possible. You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
