Edu: “Raphinha only wanted Barca move: New signings? We’ve to be ready”

Arsenal technical director Edu confirmed they tried to sign Raphinha before his transfer to Barcelona.

Edu was keen to sign the Brazil international this summer, but the former Leeds United winger only wanted a move to the Catalan side.

“Deco always told me that Raphinha only wanted Barcelona move”, he told to Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, Edu also revealed that he works in tandem with team head coach Mikel Arteta when identifying and pursuing new transfer targets.
