Erik ten Hag: Alejandro Garnacho had a big impact in the win vs Fulham
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was pleased with Alejandro Garnacho after the younsgter won the game against Fulham in injury time.
Garnacho has impressed millions of Man United fans with his top performances in recent games and Ten Hag has admitted that he’s been impressed by the youngster’s progress.
The young Argentine came off the bench and provided two assists to help Manchester United beat Aston Villa 4-2 from behind in the Carabao Cup on Thursday.
He would come off the bench halfway through the second half and scored the match-winning goal in the last minute of the additional time.
Ten Hag has been pleased with his progress and heaps praise on his composure that led to the goal.
Speaking after the game, the Dutchman said: “Alejandro Garnacho had a big impact in the win, he [finished] also, then the spotlight is on that and that is also justified because it was a great finish, because that is what you expect from subs coming in.
