Erik ten Hag has refused to comment on Marcus Rashford’s potential new contract talks prior to the club’s game with Newcastle United.
The Red Devils are set to face the Magpies in the Premier League on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Ahead of the clash, Ten Hag met the media to share the latest team news.
Rashford’s current deal expires in the summer of 2024, while he is yet to sign a new contract with the club.

During the pre-match conference, Ten Hag’s was asked about the England international’s new contract situation to which he replied, via Manchester Evening News:
“We never do. It’s an internal process. We focus on winning games, of course also planning for the future so in the back we’re working on that. It’s about agents, it’s about football director John Murtaugh, Rashy and I are focusing on performing.”
