Pete O’Rourke has reported that Everton are planning to reignite interest on Blackburn Rovers forward Ben Brereton Diaz.
According to the journalist, Frank Lampard’s side will make an offer for the 23-year-old as his price tag is likely to drop in the January transfer window.
The Toffees were so close agreeing on a £20 million deal with the Championship side, however, the transfer failed to come into existence.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, O’Rourke stated:
“Brereton Diaz, I’m sure, will be somebody that they (Everton) will look at again in January, knowing that his price tag will be reduced due to his contract situation as well. So I think Everton, if they are in the market for attacking reinforcements, Brereton Diaz will probably be pretty high up the list.”
