Fabinho has jokingly urged Casemiro to stop improving Manchester United following his summer switch to Old Trafford.

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho understands Casemiro has improved Manchester United but he has jokingly urged him not to go any further because he’s in the wrong part of the country.

Man United lured Casemiro from Real Madrid over the summer after they failed in their attempts to sign Frenkie de Jong and Adrien Rabiot from Barcelona and Juventus respectively.

Casemiro didn’t walk straight into the team due to the form of Scott McTominay but after he did, he’s been outstanding for the Red Devils.

The Brazil international scored a late equaliser against Chelsea with a brilliant header and has massively improved the Manchester United team with his vast experience.

Fabinho, who plays for Liverpool, archrivals of Manchester United, has wished his compatriot doesn’t improve the Red Devils that much.

The former Monaco midfielder would also claim that the likes of Fred and Antony, who joined the Red Devils from Ajax over the summer, are in the wrong team in the country.

“He [Casemiro] had already said he would like to play in the Premier League,” Fabinho said. “I hope he won’t improve Manchester United that much.

“Him, Fred, Antony, there are a lot of Brazilians going to the Premier League. Wrong place in the country (laughs).”
