Gary Lineker congratulated Djokovic on his win

Congratulations to the magnificent Novak Djokovic for finally winning his court battle against the Australian, Gary Lineker wrote on his social media.

Lineker used a play on words, spelling the word court, which translates from English not only as ‘court’ but also as ‘court of law’. Accordingly, the former footballer’s phrase can be translated as “won a court battle against an Australian”.

Recall that the Serbian tennis player, who was not vaccinated, was not allowed into Australia before the Australian Open and had his visa revoked and was forced to leave the country. Novak tried to appeal against the decision but lost the legal case.
