George Russell speaks on Max Verstappen’s possible move to Mercedes
Max Verstappen to Mercedes has become a recent topic in the discussions in Formula One world.
Following the announcement of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari in 2025, several names have been linked with the team to replace the seven-time world champion.
His seat is currently vacant and George Russell is waiting to see who will partner with him starting from next year.
The rumors began circulating on the internet following the Christian Horner allegation news and when Jos Verstappen was seen talking with Toto Wolff.
Nothing is certain yet, however, Russell has been asked to comment on the speculations.
“Like I said last week, this is my third season with Lewis, greatest driver of all time, and I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job alongside him. Whoever was to line up alongside me, I welcome anybody. I welcome a challenge,” said Russell.
“You always want to go against the best, but ultimately for me, I believe in myself. I believe I can beat anybody in the grid. You just gotta have that mentality.”
