Harry Maguire set to leave Manchester United with Inter Milan interested in England international

Despite interest from Inter Milan, Harry Maguire wants to stay at Manchester United until at least the end of the season.

This season, the United captain has slipped down the pecking order and is arguably the fifth choice center-back behind Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, and Victor Lindelof.

Maguire started United’s first two games of the season before being benched after defeats to Brighton and Brentford.

He’s only started two Premier League games since, and Inter Milan made an offer to sign him earlier this week.

United turned down their interest, and Maguire is still keen to stay at Old Trafford this month.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Maguire is determined to win a trophy with United, especially since he does not want to leave the club after failing to do so as captain.

Maguire will rethink his future at the end of the season, but for the time being, he is determined to fight for his spot.

Erik ten Hag wants to keep Maguire, but he’ll listen to summer offers for him, especially if it means boosting his budget.
