Voting for the best sports and business projects has started!
Bolshunov or Medvedev, Scherbakova or Averina: voting has started for the International Bookmaker Ratings Award
On February 14, International Bookmaker Ratings opened public voting for all nominations. The longlist includes Russian and foreign companies, who offered the most efficient and creative business solutions in sports and betting, and popular topical Telegram and YouTube channels in 2021.
Domestic betting companies and sports media became the first recipients of the BR Award, established in 2019 by the info-analytical portal “Bookmaker Ratings.” The list of nominations is constantly expanding. In 2021, the best sports insiders received awards for the first time in Russia, and this year the voting will be held in the categories “Best YouTube channel on sports,” “Best Telegram sports channel,” “Best media soccer club,” and “Best pop-MMA promotion.”
The public vote and the board of experts determine the winners in two separate consecutive stages. This year, the board includes Russian Premier League president Ashot Khachaturyants, VTB United League head Sergey Kuschenko, Russian Rugby Federation Supreme Council chairman Igor Artemyev, former Lokomotiv and Russian national team football player Dmitry Sychev, former figure skater and State deputy Irina Slutskaya, professional hockey player and two-time KHL “Iron Man” Award winner Maxim Yakutsenya, as well as coaches, heads of sports leagues and federations, sports functionaries and top managers of major IT companies and creative agencies.
“In four years, the BR Award has become a very prestigious and truly coveted award. “Bookmaker Ratings” is one of the leading media resources covering both sports and betting, and within the framework of our event, we were able to combine these two major industries. Experts do a lot of work assessing all participants, their achievements, and business performance indicators during the year. In addition, we are adding new nominations, and these awards are given only within the BR Award framework. All this makes it a unique event, which has no equivalent in Russia, “- say the organizers.
According to the voting results, the board will award the “Best Sports Journalist,” “Best Brand Ambassador,” and “Best Athlete” categories individually, too. Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Bolshunov, Anna Scherbakova, Pyotr Yan, Dina Averina, Alexander Ovechkin, Maria Lasitskene, Sofia Velikaya, Nikita Nagorny, and Boris Nikonorov are among the nominees.
