Jules Kounde joined Barcelona during summer transfer window of 2022.
Before joining Barcelona, Chelsea also were interested in signing Kounde, however, the Sevilla man chose Barca.
The 23-year-old signed a contract until 2027. So far he has made 5 appearances in which he has provided 3 assists.
Kounde has spoken out on choosing between Barcelona and Chelsea via L’Equipe.
He said: “I spoke with Tuchel and I also felt that he wanted me to come but I simply preferred Xavi’s speech.”
