Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Arthur Melo is set to leave the club this summer.
The Juventus loanee has found himself struggling at Anfield through injuries, failing to make an impact on the team.
As now the loan deal comes to its end, Klopp has opened up on the player’s future, sharing his gratitude for the midfielder.
“I would like to wish the best to Arthur as his loan period comes to an end — his professionalism and ability were clear to all who worked with him,” the German boss said.
Melo will be on his way back to Juventus during the summer transfer window and will eventually leave the Serie A side. According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the transfer market is open for getting the player’s signature.
