Jurgen Klopp provides massive injury update ahead of Liverpool’s game vs Wolves
The Reds are set to be in action for their next Premier League game versus the Wolves on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are sitting in 9th place in the league table with 29 points. They will be hoping to have a successful result the weekend following their goalless draw with Chelsea.
In the pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed Ibrahima Konate will be due to muscle injury.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have received a boost as Diogo Jota is back at training, while Roberto Firmino, Luis Diaz and Virgil van Dijk are getting closer to their comeback.
“Generally, it’s looking better. Jota had a full session with the team this week. I think he will be pretty much back in training next week. Bobby is getting closer. Luis is running now, that will take a few weeks still. Ibou is out. Virgil is getting closer, but not ready for the game. Nothing else so far but there are still two hours until training,” Klopp said, via Liverpool Echo.
