Both Phillips and Walker are currently on international duty with England national team at World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

The Three Lions have secured their place in the quarter-finals of the top tournament. Their next opponents will be France national team that are considered one of the favorites to win the World Cup.

The Blues’ star Kylian Mbappe is enjoying his World Cup campaign and is leading the list of top goalscorers in the competition.

“If there’s anyone that I’d like to put up against [Kylian] Mbappe to stop him, it’s Kyle Walker,” Phillips said ahead of the game.

“I believe he’s an unbelievable defender and probably the only one that’s quicker than him as well,” he added.
