Kepa Arrizabalaga has revealed how Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reacted to Thomas Tuchel’s sacking.
The Gabonese joined Chelsea from Barcelona later last month and admitted he was ‘super excited’ to be reunited with former Borussia Dortmund coach.
However, the 33-year-old has managed to make only one start under the German manager, which was his final one in charge.
Speaking via Evening Standard, the Spanish goalkeeper has shared how Aubameyang left ‘scared’ with the news.
“The truth is that the first days he arrived a little scared.
“He was a little in shock, a lot of change, the last two or three days were very crazy for him, everything that happened to him was a misfortune.” added Kepa.
