Kevin De Bruyne responds when asked whether UCL title win will make them the best
The Citizens are currently in the run for the Champions League title, competing in the 1/8 finals of the European top tier.
They have already faced RB Leipzig in the first leg, playing a 1 – 1 draw. The second leg is set to take place on Tuesday evening, March 14. Ahead of the midweek’s clash, Pep Guardiola and Kevin De Bruyne met the media to share the latest news.
The club midfielder was asked whether the Champions League title win will make them the best side in Europe, to which he replied:
“No. If we just win the Champions League and nothing else, you can call the best in Europe but I don’t know. What are the criteria for being the best in the Premier League? Everyone has their opinion, we want to be the best every year. Eight years has been pretty great.”
