Luke Ayling has taken to Instagram to send a message to Kalvin Phillips following England win over Senegal in World Cup round of 16
England celebrated a 3-0 victory over Senegal in the round of 16 of Qatar 2022 on Sunday, December 4.
Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka got their names on the scoresheet and helped the Three Lions to reach the quarter-finals.
In the next round, Gareth Southgate’s side will face France on Saturday, December 10.
Phillips started the game on the bench and came on in the second half. The Manchester City player has overall made 2 appearances in the Qatar 2022 and provided one assist.
Taking to Instagram he shared several pictures with a caption: “Class performance from the boys, absolutely buzzing. See you all on Saturday.”
Meanwhile, Ayling replied: “Love it Phil.”
