Magic Johnson suggested to retire number 6 in the entire NBA in honor of Russell

Commissioner Adam Silver needs to retire the number 6 in the entire NBA in honor of Bill Russell!” – Magic wrote on his social media.

As a reminder, Russell passed away on July 31. He had 11 championship titles in 13 seasons. Throughout his career, Bill played for Boston Celtics. In addition to his 11 titles, Bill was the league MVP five times and participated in the NBA All-Star Game 11 times.
