Colorado Avalanche beats Tampa Bay Lightning in the final series after three games (2-1).

Makar beat Nashville Predators’ RomanJosi by a slim margin, with the Lightning’s Victor Hedman taking third.

Obviously, this is a huge honour for me, but I have to turn over a quick page and get ready for tomorrow.

Josi and Hedman are incredible players. They’ve been “pushing” me all season, helping me grow. They got a lot of credit for my success.

I’m still pretty young, so this playoff experience is very exciting for me. Trying to just take it all in. We’re moving forward step by step.

No matter what happens, we’re only going to get stronger as a team. But, of course, right now we’re focused on winning the finals,” Makar said.
