Manchester United centre-back Lisandro Martinez is reportedly set to start at the back for Argentina vs Mexico tonight in the World Cup.
According to some reports, Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is set to start at the back when Argentina take on Mexico tonight in the Qatar World Cup.
The Man United defender came on in the second half for Christian Romero whilst Argentina were trailing 2-1 to Saudi Arabia.
Although Argentina didn’t concede any further goal after Martinez’s cameo, the Argentines would still go on to lose the game to the Saudis to raise many eyebrows.
According to Gaston Edul, Lisandro Martinez is set to start at the back for Argentina against Mexico but the source didn’t reveal who will be the fall guy.
Martinez replaced Romero in the second half as a result many would think the Manchester United defender would go into the team at the expense of the Tottenham defender, who was nowhere near good against Saudi Arabia.
