Manchester United star sends message to Karim Benzema following Ballon d’Or win
The Ballon d’Or 2022 ceremony took place yesterday, October 17 in Paris, France at Théâtre du Châtelet.
Benzema was crowned the winner for the first time in his career, while Sadio Mane finished second and Kevin De Bruyne was third.
The Real Madrid star received a message from former club teammate Raphael Varane, following the ceremony.
“Congratulations, my little brother! U earned it. What a player !! ” Varane wrote on Instagram.

During the previous season, Benzema scored 44 goals in 46 games and helped Real Madrid to secure the Champions League title for a record 14 time as well as La Liga title.
