Manuel Akanji has now confirmed that he will back in action for Manchester City’s upcoming clash against Fulham.
The Citizens’ newcomer had to miss the last Champions League group stage meeting against Sevilla in the midweek due to knock injury.
Pep Guardiola’s side are going to face Fulham in the Premier League on November 5, while ahead of the game, Akanji has provided a positive update on his fitness.
“I got a dead leg, I couldn’t stand on my leg any more. After a couple of days, it got better,” the player told BBC Radio Manchester.
“Now I’m back in training and ready for the weekend,” he added.
