Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta gave a press conference where he was quizzed on Graham Potter.
Potter has come under pressure at Chelsea following the Blues’ recent poor results in Premier League and Champions League.
Speaking on the Chelsea manager’s situation, Arteta said: “We are colleagues, we know the demands this industry has.”
