Newcastle Face Mega Crisis Ahead Of Carabao Final.

Newcastle are set to face Manchester United at Wembley on Sunday in their first competitive final since 1999 in the Carabao Finals.

Ahead of the game, Newcastle are in serious crisis as first choice goal keeper Nick Pope was shown a straight red card in the league clash against Liverpool during the weekend.

Pope had come off his line in the first half of the game when Newcastle were behind by two goals to prevent Salah from a goal scoring opportunity, but ended up get sent off as he had used his hands beyond the limit.

This leaves Newcastle in trouble as the first choice stopper will not be an option for the Carabao final, second choice Martin Dubravka is also not a possibility for the side.

Martin had represented Manchester United earlier in the competition before his loan was terminated by his parent club, to this regard he can only be a winner if Manchester United wins the trophy.

Newcastle are left with the choice of Loris Kairus or his fellow back up keeper Mark Gillespie as Eddie is to decide.

However Karius seems ahead to be selected even after his disastrous performance against Real Madrid for Liverpool in the champions league final in 2018, he would be delighted to have his Newcastle debut with contract running till the end of the season.
