Pep Guardiola makes Premier league title race claim following Tottenham defeat

Manchester City suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the league on Sunday, February 5.

City were given a chance to cut the gap between them and Arsenal in the title race as the Gunners suffered a defeat to Everton, however, Pep Guardiola’s side also suffered a defeat.

Mikel Arteta’s side continue to lead the league table with five points ahead of second placed City.

“We are not in the position to think about being champions,” Guardiola said via Sky Sports.
