Pep Guardiola provides injury update on Erling Haaland and Phil Foden ahead of Liverpool clash

The Citizens are currently sitting in second place in the Premier League table, eight points behind the leaders Arsenal. They will be looking to have another successful match on Saturday when they face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Ahead of the meeting, Guardiola met the media to share the latest team news. Being asked about Foden’s and Haaland’s fitness, the manager said in the pre-match conference, via Manchester Evening News:

“Phil [Foden] had surgery and Erling [Haaland] is in recovery, we will see how he feels after the training session.”
