Pep Guardiola has provided an injury update on Nathan Ake ahead of Machester City’s Premier League clash against Brighton.
The newly-crowned champions are set to face Roberto de Zerbi’s side in the domestic top tier on Wednesday evening.
Ahead of the game, Guardiola met the media to share the latest team news.
Speaking about Ake’s fitness, the manager admitted the defender is “getting better” day by day, though he refused to name a return date for the star.
“I don’t know for tomorrow or Brentford but is at the last stage. His second injury, have to be careful,” he said, via Manchester Evening News.
