Miracle O. Nwoke
Premier League returns this midweek and the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, and others are in action.

Premier League matchweek 11 matches will take place this midweek and below are our predictions on Manchester United vs Tottenham, Brentford vs Chelsea, and others.

Liverpool vs West Ham United

Jurgen Klopp’s side went against all odds to pull off an unexpected win over Manchester City last weekend in the Premier League. The 1-0 win over City will obviously improve Liverpool’s mood in the dressing room and will obviously want to build on from there.

Liverpool haven’t lost a league game at home since the signing of Virgil van Dijk in 2018 and it will remain unchanged tonight. Both teams could get on the scoresheet or not but this tie is likely to have at least three goals.

Over 2.5 goals

Brentford vs Chelsea

The Blues have won their last five matches in all competitions, following the arrival of Graham Potter from Brighton & Hove Albion. The Bees are also in decent form lately after they beat Brighton 2-0 at home last week. Although Chelsea have kept clean sheets in their five games, Brentford are likely to breach that, thanks to Ivan Toney’s recent form.

Premier League midweek predictions & Odds on Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and others

Brentford will look to pull off an upset but Chelsea would rather settle for a draw than lose all three points away from home as they would like to keep the pressure on the likes of Arsenal, Man City, and Tottenham at the top, hence expecting total goals to be at least three.

Over 2.5 goals

Newcastle United vs Everton

The Magpies held relentless Manchester United to a goalless draw at Old Trafford last weekend but will look to bounce back to winning ways against Everton, who lost their last two games against United and Tottenham. Newcastle won against Fulham and Brentford before the stalemate at United and beating Everton shouldn’t be a huge mountain to climb.

Newcastle United are struggling to keep clean sheets and coming up against an Everton side, who are anxious to get back to winning ways under misfiring boss Frank Lampard, may just be an impending game where they failed to keep a clean sheet.

Both teams to score YES

Bournemouth vs Southampton

The Cherries are unbeaten under new manager but their seven-game unbeaten run has four games that ended in draws. Southampton will be too hard for Bournemouth to win, hence both sides could share the spoils after the last whistle.

Both sides are lacking at the back and near decent going forward. They will strive to give their fans something to cheer about, though many are anticipating a tight game at the Vitality Stadium. Expecting both sides to get on the scoreboard wouldn’t be too much to ask for.

Both teams to score YES

Fulham vs Aston Villa

Villa have drawn three of their last five league matches and are the favourites to take all three points at Fulham, who have won one in their last five matches. The Cottagers would rather settle for a draw than watch 16th-placed Villa return with all three points.

Both sides are obviously going to put out a fight at the Craven Cottage, to give their fans something to brag about. Fulham have scored and conceded at least one goal in each of their last five matches. Aston Villa will look to get on the score sheet as well.

Both teams to score YES

Manchester United vs Tottenham

Man United have won their only two home games [Liverpool and Arsenal] against the top six while Tottenham fell short in their two away games [Draw vs Chelsea, loss vs Arsenal] against the top sides. The Red Devils are likely to welcome Christian Eriksen back to the squad, which is a big boost and will put out the same fight they showed against Liverpool and Arsenal and hopefully, it leads to their sixth league win this season.

The last time both sides came up against each other, both teams were on the scoreboard as Manchester United won the tie 3-2 at Old Trafford. Both sides are good going forward and will try to put smiles on the faces of their fans.

Both teams to score YES

Leicester City vs Leeds United

Both teams are struggling and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship next season. The Foxes are playing at home, so they will attack more but Leeds were decent against Arsenal last weekend. Brendan Rodgers’ side are anxious to turn their season around and tonight could be a perfect start to that.

Leeds United have drawn two in their last five matches. Leicester dropped two points last weekend after a goalless draw against Crystal Palace. The tie could settle for a draw Draw
