Carlo Ancelotti, the Madrid manager, has publicly expressed his confidence in Nacho’s future at the club, affirming that the defender is set to remain beyond his current deal, which expires at the end of this month.
A product of Madrid’s youth system, Nacho, who hails from the Spanish capital, joined the ranks of Real’s academy at the tender age of 11. He rose through the ranks and cemented his place in the senior squad under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho, making his first-team debut in 2011.
